More Power To Ya

Oh boy, I got it going now, Bub. I pull off the Vince McMahon power walk, then the Boston Globe reports that the power lunch is back and surging in the hub. People doing the power walk are getting seated immediately at the best seat in the house.

Hey, people are glad to see each other again. They want to throw a few back— a glass of wine, a pint of beer, maybe even a cocktail. People haven’t lowered them down like this since the days of the three-martini lunch. What the Christ, Freddy, as an ad agency we’d get twice as many good concepts approved if we could get the client pie-eyed before we presented them. A winning strategy, biscuit boy.

So back to the power walk. Chairman Kevin Vann called me at the end of the day last Friday. He was all fllppy-do happy because he stayed at work until everybody left the office and he started practicing the walk up and down the empty hallways. I sure am proud of him. My grandson Flynn did the power walk when he showed up at the ball field the other night for practice and his Mitey Mite League team was so impressed they named him Captain. It’s sweeping the nation baby!

Keep your dukes up.
