I Don’t Know Nothin’ About Nothin’, I Just Goes For The Hoop

Since the beginning, the agency has been a sponsor of youth sports teams. With the Elmwood Jets, we’re probably the longest-running sponsor in Holyoke Youth Baseball. And proud of it, Bucko.

Recently we sponsored two teams in a 3-on-3 basketball tournament fundraiser for Magic for Maddie, a cause that supports research to battle DIPG, a rare and deadly cancer. Magic For Maddie is named in honor of Maddie Schmidt, who tragically passed away from the disease at the age of eight in 2022. The Schmidts are longtime family friends, so this is a cause that means a lot to us.

Gainer’s son Flynn, our famous food reviewer, played on one of the sponsored teams and quickly set a record. After getting into a donnybrook with an opposing player, Flynn became the first kid in the history of the tournament to be ejected on account of a flagrant foul.

Flynn denied all charges as he fumed on the bench for the rest of the game. He claimed it was an innocent flying elbow mishap, but he was unable to convince the referee to see things his way. Hey, everything Flynn does he does with intensity. Whether he’s eating a Donut Dip Belly Buster or playing basketball. The legend lives on. Keep your dukes up (…not you, Flynn).

Keep your dukes up.
