Snoopin' Around
Hey now, Harry the Hat, I spent a lotta time watching the Olympics over the past coupla weeks. I thought France pulled everything off with a lot of style. You had three-point-shootin’ Steph Curry and Simone Biles and Katie Ledecky and some great skateboarding, table tennis, and track and field. I was sorry to see it end. The only spoiler was when they took away Jordan Chiles’ bronze medal. She really got a bum deal. Romania challenged it and those jackasses from the Olympic Court of Arbitration took it away from the American and gave it to the Romanian. The USA Olympic Committee is still fighting the fight.
But I gotta tell ya, the real star of the summer games this year was the one and only Snoop Dogg. Anytime he provided commentary, the 52-year-old hip hop maestro stole the show. He turned up in equestrian gear, rode the bus with LeBron and Steph and the USA basketball team, and was always in the stands with families of American athletes cheering ‘em on. The media called it a two-week Snoopcathalon. Wherever he went, fans were shouting his name. Every generation loves Snoop. And just wait, the 2028 Summer Olympics will be held in Snoop’s hometown of Los Angeles. What a show that will be.
Keep your dukes up.
