Lunkhead Talkin'

Yeah yeah, there’s a lotta yabba-dabba-doin’ about democracy and patriotism going on out there today. Let me tell you something, Harry the Hat—I’ve had it with all this bullwinkle.

Let’s remember the words of misfit, low-ranking Buck Private John Winger in the movie Stripes: “Remember Americans are mutts whose forefathers were kicked out of every decent country in the world.” Hey, Winger was a jackass taxi driver who only enlisted in the Army to get him and his buddy outta town.

Watch this video clip. One of the great patriotic speeches of all time.

What Winger’s saying is, “We’re all the same because we are all different.” Which means these differences don’t really matter. We’re all Americans. Winger. Let’s not forget who we are. Keep your dukes up.

Keep your dukes up.
